Born in Charleston, South Carolina, I spent my childhood exploring creeks and crabbing off docks, with summers spent on my Pawpaw’s cattle farm in the upstate. Seeing the vast differences in South Carolina subcultures got me excited to see the world. At eighteen, I moved to Switzerland for a linguistic year. This led me to fine arts school in Paris and then Montpellier, France. At art school, I craved constraints and more defined objectives, which drew me to studying design. But before I started, I did a little more exploring – a month in Seoul, Korea, two months in the Dominican Republic and six months backpacking and learning Spanish in Mexico.
What inspires me most is travel and learning about different people’s lifestyles. The best part of traveling has been collecting stories. Storytelling through visual language is what excites me about brand and packaging design. Let me tell your story!
