Whenever I need a brain break, I put on my headphones, dust off my roller skates, and ride until I get lost. I have come up with many ideas while skating. When designing, I turn up my music and have fun with the process. My creative journey was not quite linear. I was originally studying Illustration when packaging design caught my attention. I realized I could combine my illustration skills with my passion for design to create compelling brand stories. When developing the aesthetic of a brand, I consider how it can extend from a packaging concept to other brand applications, and create an engaging brand experience. I think asking the right questions throughout the design process leads to the best solutions. Being able to marry my problem-solving skills and drawing abilities has allowed me to grow as a creative person.
