My mother and grandmother both forged their own paths in graphic arts, but I never imagined I would be following in their footsteps. I always took great pleasure in creative hobbies, but was convinced that I wanted to be the complete opposite of a designer: a lawyer. I entered college on a pre-law track, but felt like my creativity was stifled. Switching to design may seem like a 180, but what I love most about design is not so different from my favorite aspects of law.
With design that is supported by strategy, I want to advocate for brands and help them excel in the court of public opinion. No matter what the brief is, I embrace flexibility and welcome all challenges that each project presents. I find the most joy in experimentation and pulling inspiration from history to create a compelling brand narrative.
