Once a stubborn and intrepid child, I manifested chaos through the countless art projects I started but never finished. I went about life with the primary goal of disrupting. Now a mellowed out individual who is analytical, and logic and detail oriented, I overthink all the little things that make something whole.
The disrupter and the overthinker work alongside each other when I design. That loud, frenzied child finds her way out when I mess with color, textures, and type. The overthinker follows close behind her, organizing the chaos, perfecting that emerald green, or kerning the type until it's just right.
The disrupter and the overthinker balance each other, and while I’m learning to contain the chaos in my designs, I feel satisfaction when it occasionally spills over into the world.
